Default Sp 800 Clutch problems

I picked up my 800 sat. and could hardly keep it running at idle. Idle was set at 800 rpm I turned it up at the throttle to 1000 and then it was creeping. Took it back to the dealer and they had to put a shim in the rear clutch to get me going and also turned idle up to 1150 rpm. He said he was going to contact polaris because all the 800's he has are creeping. Any one else had this prob?

My idle is at 1190. Its not creeping however I notice resistance in the gearshift due to that. How did you adjust your idle? I didn't know it was manual since its EFI.

No creeping problems here, and havent heard of any until now.
my idle is around 1190 also,
I was informed
theres a screw on the left side of the throttle body that will adjust the idle.
1/4 turn at most
I havent done it yet,I'm waiting for my manual.

I adjusted the idle in the trottle cable, just temp. to keep it running. The idle adj. is right in front of the air box remove air box cover to access. They removed clutch cover and the belt was way to tight, why it was tight we don't know.

If its new, thats normal-just needs to loosen up. However if its like my 800, try lowering the idle a little. Thats what I need to do.

Do you know how do you 'shim' the clutch? Would like to know in case of trouble (Dealer is 100+ miles away).
Thx.
