I think within a couple years all the Polaris lineup will offer EFI, even the Predator.

 

yup 600 efi is what id buy

 

My dealer told me they are going to drop the Sportsman 600 altogether next year.

But I agree that EFI will become widespead throughout the Sportsman line........my guess is probably standard from the 500 on up.

 

I think the reason polaris only went EFI on the 700 and now 800 is cause they know that if they offered EFI on the lower cc models like say the 500H.O. and the 600 then that is what everyone would buy, I would have. for what I do with my quad the 500H.O. would have been great but I got the 700 EFI basically cause of the EFI feature. I believe 700/800 sales would go down if polaris put EFI on the 500/600 models.

 

I had a dealer tell me the same thing. Before I bought my 700 I was originally looking for a 05' 600 and had trouble finding one.

 

was going to buy an 03 600 dealer give me a 03 700 for the some price 03 close out

 

I would like to see a 500 EFI Sportsman, that would be a very hot seller for Polaris....
