Default ATC 90 Idles but nothing else!

I have a atc90 motor (on an atc70 frame) that I am trying to get running. The carb leaked bad around the bowl gasket so I ordered up a rebuild kit for it. I used all of the parts from the rebuild kit except the needle on the carb slide. It looked fine and those tiny lillte clips are a pain to mess with. I put the atc back togeather and...vroom she fires right up and idles great! I let it warm up good and go to take off on a test ride and...no power. I cant even get it to move foreward. It idles great, but it bogs down if I try to accelerate AT ALL. I can't get the RMP's to come up even when the trike is in nuetral. If you push it to maximum throttle it just dies. Any suggestions?

The main jet is clean....in fact it is brand new. Could this be a timing or ignition problem? It seems like a fuel problem to me but the carb looks good.

Sounds like a plugged jet or passageway in the carb,or a very low float level.
Does it seem better, with the choke on?
How many turns out, is the mixture screw?
Does it have an air filter on?
could there be a vacumn leak?
Its doubtful that its a spark or ignition problem....the spark doesnt know or care where the throttle is.

I do not have an air cleaner on the machine. The choke acts like a choke should, that is it runs rich when it is cold and dies with the choke on after it warms up. As far as the air screw, I am not sure. When I did the rebuild I just counted the turns down on the old screw before I replaced it. I have adjusted the screw in and out @ idle to find the happy spot. I think my floats may be set to low. Iwill try adjusting them next and post the results.
