I have been thinking hard about gettinga 400, it seems like that would be the quad that fits my needs, i want something tough, durable, and reliable, my 250X is a little small for me and getting old, its in great shape though, think i might sell it for 1700, runs like a raped ape. But the 400 is what im really interested in, want something a little bigger than the 300, and i want something i can afford, looking for a good used one... anybody got one? andifso how do you like it??

Great quad. We have a 300, Rancher, 400, and Rubicon. To be honest the 400 is one of our favorites to take and to go anywhere. IT is flat out a tank and tougher than nails. It handles larger tires well also. You would enjoy a 400 i am sure. However i might add, if your mudding or doing a lot of offroading it is a must to put a lift kit on and larger tires (we have 27"vamps). With these simple mod's there is nothing out there that goes anywhere you won't. Good luck!

my buddy chuck has one ,that thinkg is a tank !!! will go any where- he got a 400ex now but still keep the 400 he's got the best of both worlds for the kind of riding we do
I have rode it ,an if I was to buy a 4*4 it would be a 400,but I don't enjoy the ride of a 4*4 not that they are bad ,but I like the light quick 2 wheel drive ride.
He has had it for 4 years an nothing wrong yet but it's a honda too.....later ,rick
