First, besides the engine, whats the diff between a stock 250r and a 250x? second, its an 87 stock everthing exceprt pipe yes the tires are stock too (almost no hours) so i was thinking of getting a set of kenda knarly 20s but i dont know how good the bearings are no noise comes fro them, any one with expierence will help

 

I think the head light some cosmetic stuff and maybe the swingarm

 

the x and r are nothing alike. Kenda claws are pretty nice tires. Id recommend razr2's. I wouldnt worry about the rear bearings unless the back axle has play even if its tight. Do u know what pipe it has on it? They make qutie a few things for the 250x. plus an even better thing is that 300ex and some 400ex parts swap on with no modifications. What are u looking to do with your quad? Id also recommend a nice suspension upgade. stock suspension is crappy.

 

well actually i was going to go with the knarlys cause im on a tight budget for now but i hear what your sayin razor2s are damn good tires, for the pipe its got a huge 1" head and after market silencer but its not much of a silencer that quad is loud as hell, the silencer says "bassani" ive never heard of it but i met a guy up riding that had a 250x with the stock pipe and it wasnt near as torqie as mine, i heard the 300ex is almost identicle to the 250x but thanx for the advice i appreciate it
