hpd makes one of the best pipes for the 400 i'd look into them or aaen performance

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

First thing you need to decide is what YOU want out of your 400.More topend or more low to midrange. For low to mid pipes I think the Aaen Torquer and the Dynoport are the best to go with. Now the topend you need to decide what manufacturer you like and go with them.RcR,HPD,Aaen,Hotseat.Stay clear of the FMF and DG they dont have enough info on Polaris systems to get it right. When you get a pipe you will need to rejet the carb and get a clutch setup from the place you get the pipe.

you will also have to get a matching clutch kit for the pipe, ranging from about $90-190. the HPD trail pipe was $205
