i would have to say it probably fits where your oil dipstick is....looks like a oil temp guage with a dip stick connected

It look like it would replace the dipstick. The only problem with that on a ds would be the location. It would have to replace the dipstick. You won't get a good reading from the oil tank. To get proper oil preasure or oill temp you need an inline fitting, sending unit and a gauge. Just something I have learned from past experience.

I never thought of oil temp , i was trying to think where you could get it into the water jacket.

i got a german dictionary some where i might try and translate some of it

yep now that i look at it it replces the dip stick

i dont see much point in it , other than another shiney bit
