sorry good buddy but i really doubt you can find a plastic tank for a 350 foreman. if i were you i owuld just look on ebay for a good looking stock one. IMO that would the easiest thing to do unless you could fabricate a fourtrax 300 ims gas tank to fit, not sure on that one........

Try calling Clarke manufacturing 503)829-2156 or IMS products 1 800 237-9906. That is who my local honda place suggested when I was considering getting a plastic tank. I have to tell you that I found they are proud of their fuel tanks $$.

Unfortunately there isn't an aftermarket replacement for the TRX350D. I had the same problem and had to buy an OEM unit from ServiceHonda.com and it cost me $206 bucks....might be a little more now. You could also go on ebay and find a used one but be prepared to pay between $45-$75 for it. Anyone who has one of these bikes knows that, therefore there's always bidders for it.

That guy on ebay has an exact plastic replica one for an '88 TRX350d? I'd make sure he sends a picture beforehand. I checked everywhere....including ebay and the only thing I could find were the used aluminum metal ones. I have seen replacement plastic tanks for the 1988 TRX300 though. For $203 bucks, i'd rather pay a little more and get the exact OEM part from Honda. Here's what Service Honda has:
TANK ASSY., FUEL Part #. 17500-HA7-306 In stock: Available Retail $334.47 Service Honda price: $220.79
Hope this helps. Hey Harw....do you have a pic of that tank?? I'm interested to see if it is an exact replacement. Thanks!

It fit on my old 86 350 I had. You do lose the gas gage. Straps right in. You remove the rear shock jack up the quad and it goes in from under side. IMS use to make them.

Ahh...you had an 86. Mine's an '88 and has a digital gas guage. I didn't have to remove anything to replace the tank. I was looking for a cheap alternative but couldn't find anything anywhere. Same thing goes for the plastic fenders. I had to replace all the plastic on my bike while I was restoring it and it cost me well over $500 bucks for 5 pieces.

does the mufflers heat affect the plastic replacement tank? I would be afraid that it would melt the tank. also does the stock fuel petcock fit on the tank or does it come with a replacement?
