Default Good first ATV

Which would be a good first time ATV? It has been about 12 years since I rode last. Looking at the Yamaha Bruin 350, Polaris TrailBoss 330, the Phoenix 200 (for wife), or the Arctic Cat 400, 300 or 250 (for wife). Looking at cost and reliability.

You cant go wrong with a Yamaha product. Have had 3 and no real problems, nothing but FUN! I kinda would lean toward that Burin. I here to many problems with Polaris. My buddy just bought a Polaris 700 and the carb broke where it mounts to the engine. Have fun!

Those 6-packs work pretty good.

What type of terrain? For hard-packed rolling trails, just about anything will work. But unless your wife is really small, I'd fight shy of the Phoenix. It's more of a kids quad imo.

With those being your choices I would definately lean towards the bruin. I would also have to agree that the phoenix is more of a kids quad.

i would say go with a kawasaki mojave. Great quad, good power, but not TOO much, and will last forever!
