hi guys, i am looking to buy an '05 base model predator in late april early may, but i've been having big questions, i don't want a very loud pipe, i was set on the HMF FULL SYSTEM, & i heard great things, but w/ rath's & nicholas cycle's new system no one's been talkin about it, but HFM has the quiet core & runs 101 DBLs. i'm also now heavily considering the WB slipon w/ the rath header, i really want LOTS of low end w/ no loss of top or mid but the HMF also come w/ the quiet core, will that slip on fit the rath header, so please tell me what you thing

1. rath header- w/ WB slip on
2. HMF full system
3. rath header w/ HMF slipon & quiet core.

 

The Rath Header will only work with the Pure Polaris, and Doug's drag pipe. I have the Rath And the Pure Polaris slip on and I like it. If you want LOTS of low end a pipe will not do it for ya. I went up 2 teeth on the back sprocket.

 

hey thanx you too, ya i got the idea from u RAJ, but i don't really wanna fiddle w/ the carb besides a jets just to bring it up to par w/ the new exhaust set up, but RAj, how much power did you gain, i know i wont get lots of low end, but i'd also like more top if possible & no loss in the middle, the HMF has great dyno chart, but i'm always open to new ideas, if anything i'd go down a tooth or 2, did u go up RAj for top speed, but please let me know on these also, thanx

 

keep in mind jetting is kind of a long process untill you get good at it...and WILL need to be done with ANY pipe you get for optimum preformance gains! ;D

 

I went up on the back to get more low end. I lost about 2 1/2 mph. No big deal, I don't run 75 mph down the road.
