SOLVED!!! Trailblazer 250 mid-top end bogggg
#1
The other thread got real long and started going south so posting the results. Issue is top bog to the point that it stalls at half throttle.
Following the advice of several people I pulled out that 110 jet which causes the bike to run too lean and would likely seize it.
I put the stock 130 back in. I was just about to disconnect the reverse limiter (overide?) but decided to take it down the street.
I can't believe it but it runs perfectly. I have no idea why. I am happy to know about this reverse limitor thing even though it wasn't the problem bacause it seems like its something that happens to alot of people.
Thanks "2manytoys" for skooling me on the Lean vs. Rich info. That was a fundimental mis-understanding on my part. I think there are lots of people that believe the amount of premix in your bike determines how lean or rich it is running so that really filled in a huge hole and make perfect sense.
thanks all, im off to Ocitillo.

Thats good that the problem is solved. I was thinking more like the float was sticking so it would not let enough fuel in the bowl for the top end.
As for the rich/lean thing. There are two different rich/lean conditions. One is with the oil but this just determins lubrication at different throttle positions. You can run the oil lean and seize up the piston or run it rich and foul the plug. Then there is the air/fuel mixture that determins how lean or rich it runs at all throttle positions. This can burn a hole in the piston if to lean or run like crap and also foul a plug if run to rich. Anyway thats good that it is fixed. Thats why we are here. To either give lots of useful information or just lots useless information.
