Default Kill switch for TRX 250ex

First off, I know you're all saying what the hell is this guy putting a kill switch in a 250ex for. The truth is that I am new to the sport and wanted a cheap but reliable trail bike. There is a new mx track near me and I'm thinking of joining to see if I like it. Then I'll consider an upgrade. The problem is that they require a kill switch. Do they make a kill switch for the 250ex and will I have to disable the key switch to hook a kill switch up. Are they easily installed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Pro Design makes a kill switch for $43 dollars. You can get it from www.rockymountainatv.com. I have thought about it myself. Guy down the street put one on a Predator 90 and they come with instructions.

I'm leaning towards the pro design as the reviews are favorable but I want to talk to my cousin who is a honda mechanic first. I'll let you know what he says.

Hey redripper, not to change the subject but, Did you have to re-jet with your uni air filter. I've heard that the 250ex can't handle the increase in air flow because the snorkle is so small. Any problems with it and does it offer more power. Do you have an aftermarket pipe? I'm also looking into the DG fat series nerf bars. How do you like them and did they line up with the factory holes. I want a nerf with quick install. Thanks for the help
