Default New 2005, 200cc Komodo ATV Water-Cooled

Anybody seen these in person?

Here is one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...519164742&rd=1

Looks nice, not sure if its bigger than the 110cc or 150cc ATV's?

Will Raceway be carrying these soon? At what price?

Thanks,

Aaron

I will tell you that looks like the new Yamoto 200 Butttttttt its kind of funny that Yamoto will not have them available for a few months so my best guess is that is some kind of copy cat knock off or something. I never heard of the brand that is on the gas tank?? Your guess is as good as mine with this one. But I will put up a post as soon as the Yamoto 200's are in stock. If you do buy this other one let me know how it runs!!!

I just purchased the Komodo 200cc. Well, I purchased the 150 automatic, but I was shipped the 200cc manual. The 200cc Komodo 2005 has a shifting pattern I never seen before. It does not have a shifting stop, meaning it will shift from top down, N-1-2-3-4-5-N-1-2-3-4-5-N-1-2...etc , and also will shift up the same way with no stop, 5-4-3-2-1-N-5-4-3-2-1-N-...etc.... I called the Oklahoma tech, he said these are shipped this way...HMM I think it is a defect, but am willing to deal with it as it is a free upgrade since I was shipped the wrong ATV.

Nice upgrade. Is it the size of a Blaster? or smaller? The shifting would annoy me. Odd request, but can you take a picture with an adult on it?

I had a bridgestone 100 about 30yrs ago with the same shifting deal. They called it a rotary shift pattern I think. I would think you could put a stop pin in the shifting hub to make it shift normal. Would be a lot of work though.

I was in Oklahoma City this weekend and I stopped by this new ATV place just off the service road of I-240 (south side) near Sunny Lane and the guy had this bike that must have been the 200cc you were talking about. It was manual clutch and looked just like the Yamoto (same grill, same engine, same chrome, same brake/gear guard as the Yamoto). Looked nice but he wouldn't let people ride them. The name wasn't Komodo, it was something different. Nice price, was around $1525 and that included the setup.
