hpd battery

Default hpd battery

im lookin into a winch for my tb and i was thinkin of upgrading the battery to either one hpd lightweigt battery or adding a second stock battery. for the hpd battery they have a 300, 400, and a 500 amp battery. which one is teh best for winching and starting the motor? thanks, scott

Get the 500 battery. Don't be cheap with the battery get the best you can. It will turn around and bite you in the *** if you don't especially in the cold weather.
I remember being out at the camp and it going down to -40 and come out to start the bike and er......er.........er..........click not that pull starting is hard but I paid for the electric and would like it to work.

the 500 and 250 batterys are the same. the hpd battery is better than them. its lighter and has a higher amp rating.

If you really want to spend some money, check out the light weight one on nicholas cycles page under pred performance.........that sucker only weights like 2lbs, and has the most cranking power per pound of any battery........

would if be able to keep up wiht a winch though and set of 55 watt lights
