Ok well I have a 96' 300ex, my problem is that the starter is engaging for only a few seconds then it no longer engages but the starter is still spinning????????? Just wondering if anyone has had this problem & what they did to fix it??

I know of a 416ex with a Cam, Pipe, Carb, and Rev box that eats One Way Starter Bearing about 1 every 6 months or so. I would imagine the 300ex of yours is having the same problem.

Try PlanetHondaRacing for parts

Ya know, I started thinking about this, it really started getting bad after we did the mods to it, it's not HEAVILY modded but it does have a high compression piston,cam,rockers,400 carb, full FMF system so I've heard taht once you bump up the compression like on a 400 it's best to get a "bigger" battery for the compr??? Anyway thanks for the link
