96 400 Sport Head

Default 96 400 Sport Head
Just wondering how far I could safely machine my stock head down running pump fuel? I dont have the money to buy a cool head so to increase compression I wanted the cheap way out. Any help would be appreciated.

.020. Will give you around 12:1 compression and still be able to run pump gas.

Alright thanks. I forgot to tell you that this was a stock bore and a wiseco piston.
