Default Hillard Clutch problems?

hey, when riding with a couple of guys I've been told that my right front wheel on my Polaris Sportsman 500 isnt driving full time, it kicks in once in a while. I've filled the hub up with the factory stuff, one friend suggested that maybe overfill was the problem. I havnt reduced the amount yet, thought I would get some feed back here first. The axle on that side is brand new. Thanks for suggestions...

What year is your Sportsman?

If it still has the On Demand hubs, the hubs are filled with fluid through the hex bolt, which should be at the 3 or 9 o'clock position when filled. I would also check to see if the castle nut in the hub is tightened to spec. Also, check the wire leading to the hub to make sure it isn't cracked or torn.

The first thing I would check is the fluid level.

I think the book says 8 or 4 oclock when filling, but i believe it is personal opinion between the two
