Default HELP! Carb trouble

I took my carb to the dealer and asked to have it looked at and cleaned. The mechanic is very cool. He brought to my house the next night and I installed it tonight. I had drained the gas tank and put fresh fuel in. It started right up. I let it run for a minute and went to give it some throttle and it quit. I thought It was just cold. I started it back up and let it idle for another minute and same thing. After getting it started again I found that if I give a lot of throttle it sputters and there is black smoke from the exhaust. Then when I back off it will die.
Any idea's?
Thank you

You can take all the "shootouts" and put them in one bucket and you won't have beans.

Black smoke, way rich. Did you check to see if the choke was left on?

Yeah, choke is off. I need a high speed adjustment I think, but I don't know how.
I figured I would post it here and probably get my answer before tomorrow!

Float plunger is not seating and thus is letting the fuel get too high.

Turn off fuel and open the screw bottom of float bowl - let all the fuel out.
Tighten screw and turn fuel back on.

This should clean out any small debris in float.

Start your motor and tell us what happens.

another thing that can cause similair symptoms is if the diaphram lip under the top cap did not get into its groove right when the cap was screwed down. if the diaphram that opens the slide is leaking due to this the bike will not take throttle.

Wow you are not going to believe this. I called the mechanic from the dealer. He was working on his race car not too far from where I live. He said to bring it over. We changed the plugs(which I did not 2 riding hrs ago) , but nothing changed. He jumped on it and took off down the road. He came back and said it was the carb for sure. He loaded it up in his truck and he took it with him so he can work on it tomorrow.
I think that is so cool. Getting parts is still a bitch but that is beyond customer care. His name is Brent Gomer and he is a S.C.A.A. champion. driving an AC Cobra.
He said it would be fixed by tomorrow afternoon.
I'll let you know what happened.
Then my race is Sat at 3:30

Well I've got to hand it to you Hightower, you hit the nail on the head. Now the problem is getting one (diaphram) by tomorrow! Seeing that is NOT going to happen, I am wondering if I should order a new part(#707200113) or get a new, different kind of carb. I am racing and my mechanic says it (stock) can only take so much because it is not made for this kind of riding.
I contacted 5 dealers and none of them have the part. :-( When I asked, they just laughed.
I never thought I'd be saying "I need a diaphram real bad!"

What do you think would damage the diaphram?
I noticed a bogging after some hard jolts. That's why I took it off for a cleaning and inspection.
