Picking up my new R tomorrow, going to the dunes Sunday....what paddles?? It's going to stay stock for a while; maybe remove the air box lid for now. Thanks!!

 

I haven't tried them personally but everyone seems to really like the ITP Sandstars......

 

Light buffed down Skat-Traks, 8-paddle Edges work well for me (I prefer to maneuver, rather than just go fast in a straight line). On ITP rims with a greater offset than stock, so the bike ends up a few inches wider, which never hurts!

 

What do you want it to do?
Light tires and wheels are your freind, and Haulers are the way to get there, unless you go with a Sant Tires Unlimited Paddls Brat or Skates 1
All around go with a 7 paddle hauler on 20" wheel, or 8 paddle edge.
Hill shooting go with a 22" 7 paddle
The other sand tires are heavy and rotating weight is the number one way to increase performance.

 

Thanks for the replies. I got some Sand Stars on ITP rims. I'm not a hard core racer, and there will always be a faster bike anyway.
