Has anyone ever flipped the front forks on a 250r over like they are on a 350x to make it axle foward. It seems like this would give a couple inches of length on the front end. If this is not possible has anyone ever put 350x forks on a 250r. I was just curious.

 

if you did flip around the 250r forks, the brake caliper and disc would be subject to alot of damage, and no, 350x forks are smaller than 250r forks,

 

I have seen a few 250Rs w/ upside down forks off of late model CR's..

There were three at pismo a little while back. Really nice - according to them it only took minimal machining on the triple clamp and front brake...

An idea for a project anyways...

 

when iceracing i flipped my 350x forks around (axel back) for non studded application. this resulted in more wieght transfer to the rear wheels...yea!

 

only advantage i can see is for drag racing.
