I saw on the white bros. site that they had a Raptor silencer so I called. The man on the other end said that they had about 150 silencers due in 2 weeks.
I asked about dyno results and he said that they just put it on the dyno yesterday and were able to get an additional 5.7 hp/5000 RPM from the Raptor that they were testing.
He said the peak HP reading on the chassis dyno was 37 hp.

Does anyone know what this would correspond to in crank hp and where we stand compared to the DS?

 

I am not positive, but i think the DS650 has 34 HP to the rear wheels. But don't hold me to it.

 

37 before or after the pipe?

Mid to upper 30's is what I was figuring from the MSO someone had posted...

 

The DS650 has 42-43 peak HP at the rear wheels, all stock.

In the New Dirtwheels they have a Picture of the Raptor with there pipe on it. looks cool.

nope they have a 2001 yellow sportrax 400ex test though. nothing on the raptor but just the Yamaha EXTRA stuff, Graphics ect.
