12.5:1 is 93 octane ok

Default 12.5:1 is 93 octane ok

my quad has been put away for awhile now its time to get it back out. it has 12.5:1 piston and n.p. cams, hmf exhaust and so on. can i run 93 octane fuel.

You might get a way with that, but it would be safe to pick up some 100 octane and use that instead of the 93 octane.....JMO

Type in the word OCTANE in the search bar and you should find your answer.

I have an 11/1 piston and was running race fuel.

A couple of guys convinced me to try 91 when we were at Glamis this past weekend.

I think it runs better on the 91![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

if i decide to try 93 octane what do i look out for just pinging. i also have an egt guage on the bike.
