Well it is 15 degrees here today with 6" of snow on the ground and 30mph winds. Well my friend and I decide to go ride my new Recon. There are a couple super deep mud puddles that we normaly have to go around but today we didnt because they were frozen. Or at least we thought. On our way back in the woods we crossed them all just fine. But on our way back out the deepest of them all broke and the back tires went down and the whole rear end was under mud up to the racks! The front was still on ice. I mean we were STUCK. So we got my black max ratchet winch out and started to hook it up when 2 guys on Grizzlies came up behind and asked if we needed them to pull us out. We said yeah and they went around and hooked my winch up and pulled us out. The whole time they had a huge smile on there face's because my little Recon got stuck. When they went to leave the one guy decided he was going to show off his Grizz and go through the mud. NOT, he got stuck worse than we were. His entire machine was burried and it has mudlights and everything on it. We stood there and watched them use the other grizz to pull it out. The guy looked pissed but thats what he gets for trying to show off! My little recon can hang in the mud and muck with most of the big stock 4X4's and I am extreamly impressed with this machine!

why were they trying to show off with just four guys around thats my question. still im glad to see atleast one of them will have a crushed ago.

They were trying to show off because my little 2wd $3500 Recon was stuck butthole deep and they had to pull me out. He wanted to show off his nice 4wd $?,000 Grizzly and it back fired on him.

 

Yes it sure does. It was all I could do to not laugh at him. But then again he did help me out of a very tough spot. Had he not had a friend with him on another grizz I would have went around the hole and pulled him out.

 

It doesn't hurt that the Recon weighs a couple hundred pounds less. Bigger and heavier sink deeper.

yeh something like that happend to me 2 weeks ago ... except i was riding alone.. it was a about a 4ft wide ditch.. it wasnt deep mud just slick as a **** i hit it with a run got almost out of the ditch and it let loose.. back down i went i.. i tried to back out the other side same thing happend i .. i kept trying this for about an 1hr.. then i came walking back up the road covered in mud... i can climb everything a stock sportsman500 can climb so i though i would out do him.. well it didnt work untill a couple of days ago haha stupid heavy polaris.. there is this steeeeeeep hill behind our mudpit and we were playing tag i though i could lose him so i pegged it in third and hung on up the hill went was some nice air till i looked and saw him rolling back down.. he was blessed with his own little bit of "adrenline strength" the sports man would have landed flat on him but he kicked it off him with 1 leg and came out with only a bruise on his back from a root on the ground. it bent the sportman handle bars we bent them back and ended our game but know i can say that i out climb a 500 sportman..
