Default 2002 700 coolant keeps running out

I bought a 2002 700 about 2 months ago that only had 26 miles on it. I noticed the coolant was really low (below min) so I decided just to change it. I pulled the hoses and drained it all out. Was really clean and green. I replaced it with blue ice. I follwed the dealers instructions and added the bottle, ran it around, added more and repeated until it was full. I noticed it only took about 3/4 of the total amount it should have. Seems just about every time I ride it, the next day its empty again. I keep filling it up and it will stay full while I ride it, but the next day after it cools, its empty again. Seems the colder it is (its only 40 or so in Fl) the more disapears when it cools down. The last time I added it back to max, including all the other times I added, I've put in just slightly over the total it should hold. And its back to empty. The oil is real clean, the fan runs fine and I don't see any signs of leaking. The only time I notice anything funny is every once in a while when I'm running slow through water (not above foot rest) , it may steam up and smell like an hot steam iron might, but I assume thats just water hitting a hot engine and radiator. I'm new to ATVs so I'm not sure what to think. Thanks...

Welcome to the forums. I have an 03 and it fluctuates up & down a little and has done it since it was new. You might have an air pocket in it and its just working its way out.
