2002 sportsman 700 sputtering

2002 sportsman 700 sputtering
Just bought my son a 2002 Polaris 700 and is sputtering. Cleaned carb and checked gas lines. Does anyone know what else to do. It takes off good but get up to 20 mph and the sputtering starts. Any suggestions??

Install the Kokusan kit. #2202602. Shows cheaper here than ebay,but not by much.Around $479 http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detai...P-2202602.html Plus here is a very good video on installation of the kit.
