I am interested in buying a set of tires and am wondering what kind to buy. I have considered buying the 28" vampires, but I think that they will be too heavy for my 2001 kodiak. It is 4wd and I would like to get the best tires that you can get. I am thinking about getting the new 28-12.5 outlaws from Highlifter on the back and 27-10 Mudbugs on the front. Do you think that this combo will work properly? I ride hardpack trails as well, but I would like to have some good mud tires.

 

just get the outlaws all the way around but make sure you dont get them to big.
