I have the billet mount and speedo set up. I like it and find it very handy and accurate. I have compared to a gps and yes its 1-3 mph off(sometimes)(tire air pressure can change which affects the wheel circumfrence which skews accuracy;not to mention tread wear)....so what? Thats accurate enough for me!
I set it up and that is saying something becuase I am not a wrench type of guy. Carpenter;yesWrench;no.
Route the cables on a clean bike with the proper amount of cable ties and forethought and measure the wheel circumfrence of the front wheel (aired up to your preference) on a clean garage floor(get one tread wet w/ paint) and thats pretty much it. I have found that my routing and ties have held up under some pretty rocky riding and have not given me any prob at all.
here are the things I use mine for: Time of day, speed, max speed, avg speed, distance and trip distance + a couple of maintence reminder things that are preset to flash to remind you.
Its a novelty for me but can be very helpful at times.
"Wow! how fast did we get going"?" 53.2mph" "wow". "Hey how long was that loop"? "7.5 miles". "Hey what time is it you guys?" "5:37pm
Get one.

I do! Deffinately get the clamp with the lights and speedo mount on it!!!! it is worth every penny

Speedo is accurate if you enter in the correct tire size and stuff like that!!

Hey does anyone know if the raptor trailtech comp is the same as the YFZ 450 speedo.. i dont mean the clamp i mean the actual speedo?

I got one just this year and it works great first time out my buddy took his truck along and it was right on. Well as accurate as that is. I would think that the speedometer would be the same its just a computer with a magnet at the end of a cable... cant be too many differences. The only difference would be the magnetic bolt that you put in your rotor... The only thing I dont like about it is if you are riding at night you have to push a button for the light and it only stays on for 4 seconds... needs to be a longer light.. Oh well still sweet!
