450s Lift kit ?
#2
Sorry about that,
I am looking at adding a lift kit to my 04 450s, and I have a couple of questions.
I will be taking it in the shop Monday first tuneup (25 hours)
I was looking at adding the following mods.
2 " lift kit
27" mudlights
ITP C series rims.
New pipe and rejetting.
I have a couple of concerns about stability and the higher center of gravity,
but my biggest concern is reliability!
I know if I leave everything stock this bike will run forever.
But I ride a lot of muddy areas with creek crossings.
The trails are rutted out a ton and I am constantly bottoming out on the skid plates.
I think the extra ground clearance and I would be able to go thru anything.
The pipe change is just so I can spin the bigger tires without losing power.
Whats everyones thoughts
