Here is the email he sent to me.
Hello,
Thanks for the mail in comply to what the sale act and shipping arrangement . I want you to hold at mind that i will tagg the issed sum to bike couple along with the shipping fund. So my full name is smith williams And i am presently in western Europe and I am a self undersatnding man from a well to do family with two son in college a baby lawyer to be. I want you to hold on that the bike and count already sold to me.have call my international client and he has let me understand that the method of paying is by cashier check drawn in american bank which is save..........Am still intresting in buying the bike and i would need your full mailing address where you can receive a check of $6000 ........And the excess funds of the check will be sent to the shipping company through western union outlet around you for the immediate pick up of the goods from your location as soon as the transaction is completed.. .......Also i've contacted the shipping company coming to your location for the pick up of the goods......Kindly provide the address on time and the name that will be on the check for the payment...Trust is good......Looking forward to this transaction smoothly and quickly....

The guy is serious, serious about ripping off a quad and not paying. What a joke that stupid email is.

tell him to fly to washington, give you the cash and let him leave with your quad. however he gets it home from there aint your problem.

Probably a scam but tell him you'll only do a face-to-face sale and to bring cash. Lots of stories about fake cashiers checks/money orders.

there are all kinds of scams like this....one is as listed above, they use a bogus Escrow account that they own and looks like the real thing....

the other is when they say you can ship it to a location in the US and send you a fake cashiers check....those you can completely clear through the bank....

plus, shipping a unit sucks, even if it was legit, I wouldn't do it....sell it locally...
