Does anyone know if the plastic off a 2000 400 will fit a
500? I do very little night riding and dont like the lights on
the bars. I noticed older 400's have a light in the front hood.
Will they swap?

Yup. All Gen 3 machines have interchangeable plastic. The only difference being the hood with the hole for the oil tank on the 2 strokes. Now, if only there was an aftermarket plastic available!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

bbs, know what you mean on am plastic. i run the black 500 plastic on my 400. like the color but scratches and scuff really stand out.
