Default Yamoto's New Warranty

One exciting step that was taken to associate Yamoto with other high-quality proven products is our recently announced agreement with Z-max Micro Lubricants. This agreement allows us to offer the first ever five (5) year guarantee on Dirt Bike and ATV power and drive trains. This guarantee is unheard of in the off-road market and places Yamoto at the forefront of product durability.

perdition, it is a pretty impressive warranty/guarantee. Problem with it as I see it is, who will back it up? There is no dealer network for Yamoto that I am aware of and that is what is needed most . It really doesnt matter much if you get a free replacement part, if you cant replace it your self. They claim that any motorcycle/lawn mower shop can work on them, problem is will they?
I personally am very happy with my wifes quad, but I am a pretty capable mechanic/fabricator. I hope you dont think I am picking on you, I didnt intend to. I just think it is a hollow guarantee.

I hope you mean warranty, fix it when it brakes. Guarantee means it will not brake.

Is the warranty going to cover wear out or just breakage?
Will it cover the cost of the parts and labor or just parts?
Will the work have to be preformed by a Yamoto auth. dealer?
Will the part be covered one time or every time it fails?
Will I have to wait for a rep. to look at the atv/dirtbike?
What will be turn around time on reimbursement?
How much will they pay for shop labor?
How much will the owner pay out of pocket?
These are all fair questions that I ask of any warranty from a co..

Are they selling them only, or will they fix them too?

Guess if your not handy with the tools your screwed. There isnt any local dealers around me either but thats ok ,ive been tearin down and rebuildin since I was 11.I like the idea of being able to blow an engine 3 yr's from now and get a free one. . Even if there isnt a dealer near, a warranty that will cover engine and drive parts fo 5 yr's is awsome in my book.

We have several big Yamoto dealers in Phoenix now. Most of them carry quads and sand buggies. They all seem to be reputable,a dn with nice buildings. I think Yamoto is here to stay.
