Hey all, I have been neglecting this rebuild for almost 2 years now and I am thinking it is time to get it out of my basement...one thing that I need are new front wheels, I know for a fact that they are not the normal honda pattern, they are smaller. I think they may be 4x144(the normal honda pattern is 4x110) but I need to know for sure. Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

87 250x has 4x110 front and rear......its a mutant

the 300ex is the same size bolt pattern in the front as well. also the 250ex i think.

 

Im not sure when the change was made to the 300ex,250r front bolt pattern. The grey 87 had the small front and I think I recall the wheel bearings were different on the 87 as well. Drag racers used to put the front wheels on the rear to save weight.

 

Ummm all hondas use the same size front wheel bearings. Just different size hubs.

right now i have 2000 400ex front hubs with 87 250x bearings/spindles and Hiper CF wheels for a 250r. but soon i will put the new 400ex spindles i have on as well.

 

Same in the front as well as what?
