Default 85 250R unable to beat Banshees

I just bought a 85 250R for $500.00. It has a big bore kit and a 40 mm carb with a twist throttle. I'm running racing fuel(110 octane). It has a K&N filter(no airbox) FMF Gold series pipe and DG silencer. It sounds great, but I'm still having trouble beating Banshee's. What size sprockets should I be running? Are there any ideas as to what I need to change.

??????????. Help me/us out a little. What is the trike lacking? So you are taking them on the low end? How is your Low, Mid, and top end power? What reeds are running with that combo? What is your current tire size and sprocket sizes?

I'm running gecko tires not sure of the size either. I'll have to check when I get off work. The reeds no idea there either. Just got the bike and rode it for about 2 hours before the clutch went out on me.

There are a ton of things that could be holding you back, let us know on your complete combo, well give you some suggestions. $500 for a trike with that stuff is a steal! There are some guys on here with some real SICK 250R's.

So far just Glamis, did not have a chance to go to Gordon's yet. The clutch only lasted 2 hours. Just got it replaced and haven't been able to take it out yet. Could the clutch have been slipping causing my problem? Not sure which big bore or cylinder,I was told a 300. And it supposed to be ported and polished also. I was told with all the work it should compare to a 330 big bore. Again I have no clue.

Apparently eveything associated with the clutch had to be replaced. When I drained the oil it smelled soooo bad! It looked like mud coming out.
