Default wolverine winch mounting problem

Hey folks, I have a 2004 yamaha wolverine with some mod here and there. One of them is the warn 2500 winch. It came with a fabulously crappy warn winch mount that sticks right out the front end and smashes into any obsticle I come across. I have seen however many a wolverine that has the superwinch mount that relocates the oil cooler and puts the winch in and behind the front bars keeping it out of harms way. Plus it looks cool to. For the life of me I can not find anyone that sells them here in good old alberta canada. The part number is 2202365. If anyone knows where I can get one or one like it let me know before I go mental.
Thanks for the help.

Default wolverine winch mounting problem

I ordered a winch mount for my 04 Wolverine from the Yamaha dealer in B.C. that fits inside the frame. I paid 105.00 cdn including tax. Part # 151589. The only problem is that the oil cooler mount was not in the box. The dealer is tracking the part down for me so it should be in soon.

Do you know who makes the paticular winch mount you ordered. I have a part number for a moose winch mount but do not want to order it becuase there is no pic of it to tell me where it sits. I cant believe how hard it is to find a simple winch mount!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I tried the two websites in the previous thread but ran across the same problem. I dont want to order something from the states and find out that it mounts in the wrong place. I have called so many people and no one knows where or how there paticular product actually mounts. They tell me to order it first so I can see but then I have to pay shippiing and handling twice if it is the wrong one. Very frustrating. Does the one you have look good/ work well???? Ill give your part # a try.
Thaks for the help,
Chops

There was no brand name on the mount but it is identical to the superwinch mount.

I returned it to the dealer until they can track down the missing oil cooler mounting bracket that was not in the box. This was the best price I could find and like you I did not want to order and have to ship it back if it was the wrong mount. If you can not get it at your local dealership I can give you the dealership information and part guy's name and number here as they will probly ship it to you. If you want to wait until I receive mine I will send a picture via email. Let me know.

I researched the p/n you gave me and a company by the name of quadrax makes that paticular mount. I am probably going to go down and see if I can order it from the yamaha dealer later this week so I will let you know what happens.

that was my major gripe about the wolvy... the winch stuck out. I think the guy I sold it to just took it off and gave the winch away!
