Default wolverine winch mounting problem

Hey man any luck with the oil cooler mount yet. I am going to hold out untill you get yours to see what it looks like. If you could send me a pick when it is all installed or if you have a scanner just send me the installation instructions that would be awesome.
thanks, chops

www.prm-atv.com They have an oil cooler relocator kit, not sure if it will work for a winch.

Chops,

the dealer called today and the mount is in but I won't be able to pick it up until Friday. I will scan the instructions and email them to you.

The winch mount you want (behind factory bumper w/relocation of oil cooler) is manufactured by CMP (Cambridge Metal & Plastics) and can be found under the Moose brand and possibly Superwinch. I highly recommend it over the Warn mount. I had the same issues as you when mounting my Ramsey winch. The CMP mount is well engineered with a custom fit. Hope this reply isn't too late.

Chops,

I picked up that winch mount and mrbulliz is correct the mount is made by CMP. I have emailed the instructions to you. Let me know how it works out. I am going to install mine tomorrow.

Well gentlemen I would like to thank you all for your help, As of 1240 am alberta time on a fine Saturday morning I have ordered the 15-1589 yamaha wolverine winch mount for $109.00 dollars and it will be arriving next week. I cant wait to install it and go for a rip without my front end smashing in to everything. Thanks for forwarding me the installation instructions so I can see how it mounts wr250, its awesome to know what I am getting and how it installs before I actually order it (priceless info). You all have saved me much heartache, If only I made this post on here in the first place.
I'll post some pics soon,
Thanks again,
CHOPS

Default wolverine winch mounting problem

Hey Chops, I have the behind the bumper mount on mine and did not like the oil cooler back where it did not get any air, so I put it in the factory position with minimal trouble. If you are interested I can probably explain it or get pictures for you. If you want pictures you will have to wait until I get ti back together after adjusting the valves (anybody have the specs for the valve adjustment?)

Intake = 0.06-0.10 mm or 0.0024-0.0039 in
Exhaust = 0.16-0.20 mm or 0.0063-0.0079 in

Both adjusted cold.
