I'm going with a bunch of guys to Silver Lake early this year. Anyone game to met a bunch of New Jersians for some riding and drag racing?

 

I might be in if I can find some one to go with. Its a 4 hr drive for me I really dont want to do alone. where U staying? yogi or a hotel?

I will be there May 25, 26 - rented the entire lodge at Silver Hills resort. It only sleeps 10 and all the beds are full, but we welcome any and all to come party with us the night of the May 25th (wednesday).

Its this damn work schedule me and my buddies have, work lots of weekends, but lots of weekday time off. Works out well for the dune rides though, we own that place on weekdays, its empty and we make the tracks!

 

I will be there on the 25th and 26th with Hightowers gang, I might even stay for the 27th. Join us if you can, last year we had the place to ourselves.

 

i just may be up for that. i am getting out of the navy may 6th and going back to northeast ohio. i want to see what all the sand hype is about and i want to open up the ds.

How are the DNR at Silver Lake about sound levels?

 

Usually pretty leanient. I have a raptor running 16 discs on a ct exhaust and I dont even get tested. You have to be obnoxiously loud to rouse their attention, but every once in a while you get a sticker in there. Its usually during busy times though, which that weekend will not be.

Limit is 94db I believe, they typically let 96 in without much of a fuss.
