Strongest possible chain ? What's the best ? Hey Bubba

I need the strongest chain available for my Polaris project quad. What brand do you think is the strongest. Money is no concern strength is most important. What do you think ?

I would'nt spend the money on the fancy sidewinder stuff,i know someone that bought the fancy titanium stuff and it wore out just like the regular stuff.Plus he could have bought 3 or 4 regular chains for the price.

something thats an X ring. i have a parts unlimited x ring on mine. granted i have a chain tensioner and all but its really strong. i have had it on for almost a year and havnt needed to adjust it one bit. its also only a 250 with mabye 33 or so HP on it and thats at the crank and your sled motor is pumpin what 110? thats another factor. but if u can get a chain tensioner on it get one and get the did x ring or an equivelent of that and you should be good to go!!
good luck

Well I think you have 2 options. First is to buy a good chain in a 520. DID makes a great high tensile chain for about $100. The other option (which I think is the best) is to put on a set of sprockets and a 530 motorcycle size chain. Then your bullet-proof for sure. The only small problem I could see with that is having a sprocket machined to fit the tranny, but that would be a minor thing.
Also, are you going to run the sled clutches, or the ATV cluthces?

I'm running the sled clutches. They look much stronger and the belt is stronger. I am having some sprokets custom made to fit everything together. Thanks for the chain info.
