How many discs are you guys running in your e-series slipon pipe for the 400ex? Where do you feel the power and how about noise? Thanks!

Mine came in the box with all 12 disks already bolted on, so I just slipped it on the EX and let 'er rip.

The power gain is VERY noticeable on the bottom-end, a lot more torque, an no more flat-spot in the low RPMs. It lugs really well now. Midrange and top-end power also feel like they went up a decent amount, but I think the biggest difference is in the low to midrange area.

It's a LOT louder than stock, almost too loud for my taste, but from what I've heard it's still quieter than most other aftermarket slip-ons. I've been thinking about pulling out a couple disks to see if it quiets down a little, but haven't gotten around to it.

I run 18 disks, with no lid and K&N filter, and it’s loud as hell. The more disks you add the bigger the exhaust hole and the louder it gets. More disks is for mid-top end and less disks is for low-mid. Just remember the minimum is 4.

Download the e-series manual on WhiteBros site, it has everything you need to know. It even has a dyno run showing stock vs e-series.
