Default 800 Stroker

Gary at TVI/DS Works told me today he is going to run a sale on his 800 Stroker. $3500.00

Call him if your interested. Too much money for me, right now but sounds like a deal to me. I am just finishing a total remodel of one of our DS's, Nothing is the same on the Bike and will post pictures when I'm done.

The TVI big bore/stroker, is it really 800cc? We all know both TVI and HP research get there cranks from the same place, Falicon Crankshaft Components. From the looks of it, it seems almost everyone is using them for cranks.

So if TVI is using a 88mm stroke that would mean they would need a 107.5mm bore to get 800cc displacement. I didn't know they have that big of cylinder.

TVI. Does have an 800 stroker kit..I have seen it.Just becouse TVI uses Cranks From Falicon. It does not mean it is the same as Mr HPs. I have seen and ran TVI's 800 motor. It is a very STRONG and wild ride.Blows away his big bore 720 kits

I am in no way saying that TVI is using the same crank as HP research. The link I posted clearly shows that Falicon makes 2 cranks for the DS, a 91mm for HP research and a 88mm for TVI. Maybe that info is outdated? Does TVI have a new crank that has a stroke longer then 88mm?

This is not a TVI vs HP research vs Pami.

If TVI is is using the 88mm crank and a 105mm bore, then it would be 760cc.

Dunme, I checked out the thread you posted. Some good info for calculating engine size, I personally like to use some of the java programs on the web that do all the work for you! That thread didn't really have any info regarding how TVI is producing a motor that dissplaces 800cc.

One post on that thread said TVI uses a 104.7mm bore cylinder.

88mm stroke x 104.7mm bore = 760cc

So either TVI has a bigger stroke, or a bigger bore, or both, or it won't displace 800cc.

I thought TVI was using a 105.5 bore with an 88mm stroke for their 770???

To get an 800 with the 105.5 bore they would have to have a 92mm stroke.

Easiest way to find out is to call Gary, I'm sure he'll tell you.

Many companies call their vehicles a certain sized engine, however, they generally are not. My Warrior, marketed as a 350 is really on 348. The DS 650 is actually 653... It's just better marketing ploy to round the figures out. Easier to remember and grabs interest of those that don't research.

What is the website for TVI?
