What is the top speed of a 400ex? Does it only go 64 like the magazines say? Mine feels faster. Has anyone got a gps reading on it?

 

its different for every person 64 is about right if you haven't adjusted your throttle cabele. adjust it and you'll probaly do 70. i'm really light and was clocked at 74 mph stock except smaller 18 tires but if you ad a pipe and stuff you'll go alot faster

 

Thats not true. the smaller the tire will give you more low end and take some top end away. My friend raced at ATCO raceway in NJ and he had stock 20 inch tires and did 68mph in the quarter. and then he had 8x8 8eadlocks with 18 inch holeshots and was clocked at 64 mph. he weighs 190 lbs.
