Default 99 Sp 500 OverHeats

Hi just had my mechanical seal change on my 99 sp 500 and now it overheats. I have check the coolant is not very hot also check to see if the thermostat was open and it is. Does any buddy thing that there is a air pocket in the cooling system and how do you get it out?

it could be air. the way to get it out is to raise the front up with the cap off, if there is it will burp out. let it down and then raise the rear. may have to do it a couple of times, but should get most of the air out.
