Are you planning on opening up your in-take?
I put a VDI snorkle on mine,re-jetted and opened up my muffler,my bike is alot more responsive and she feels like it has a four barrel carb on it now.

I feel the first mod that anybody needs to do to this machine, is the intake mod. You can do all the mods you want, but if it's not getting the air it needs to breath, you still have a hancuffed machine. I opened up the intake and needed to use bigger main jets. The DynaJet kit doesn't come with big enough jets to work with the intake mod, so you'll still need to buy new ones. The new needle will probably help, and the springs might help too, but I don't know if I'd spend the $85.00 bucks for the few parts in the kit that you can use. If they come out with either a Stage 2 kit, or supply more jets, I'd give it a try, but right now I can't see it being cost effiecient. I have alot of faith for DynaJet, but the kit without the bigger jets, just doesn't fit my needs. Just giving you my 2 cents.

I have heard mixed reviews on dynojet kits, some out of dumb luck get good results and others are left feeling frustrated and mad and just sell them on ebay. I would suggest going on ebay and looking for a kit that sells genuine mikuni jets. THat is all you really need.

Yes, its Kehin jets. The smaller sloted ones. About a 1/4" round head. The larger ones have about a 3/8" round sloted head.
