I bought it last year and its geting a little boring.. i was wondering how i could make it a little faster

 

put a twin air filter, full system high profroence pipi, and jet the carb, that will wake it up.

 

what kind of jet.....and where could i find a 'twin air filter'

Will really wake the bike up.

 

Your going to want to go with a smaller size jet that will increase the horsepower and decrease the chance of your plug fouling out.

 

ignore him completly. See what kind of exhaust you buy, then call up the manufacture of the exhaust, and tell them what you got, they will reccomend a jet size to start out with.

 

Why would you ignore me?

 

Hondas come stock with the jets too big you want to decrease the jet size. They come with the jets too big just as another way to prevent them from blowing up.

 

omg.... all bikes come from the factory LEAN, because they need to pass regulations, but me and ozark were reccomending aftermarket exhausts and so on, and he asked what main jet to use with those mods, and you said to go smaller... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

Just go to a local atv shop and pick yourself up a decient priced aftermarket exhaust. And while your there pick up a K@N performace air filter or you can go with a UNI, All depends on where u ride. Then you go home, install them and ride it for awhile, take it back and check your pulg to see if your runnin lean. Most people can tell by the way it rides. If its backfiring through the carb its lean. So then you can usually judge the size.
