I hope someone can help. Me and my best friend were out riding a few months back and his engine starts pouring smoke. It's a '00 DS650. LSS, a grommet came out of the top of the motor and poured oil all over the engine. Now, it will fire, die, and then blow oil out of the exhaust. It won't stay running. What can I do and is $500.00 too much to fix this?

 

Well I'd suggest rebuilding the entire top end but I'm sure some of the more experienced tech's here could give you a better evaluation then I can.
