Default 250R Radiator Shrouds

I'm attempting to install some radiator shrouds I bought months ago for my TRX250R. I removed all the stock shrouds and screen, but the new shrouds don't fit just right. They hit on the factory tab on the outside edge of the radiator. Is this tab supposed to be cut of or bent out of the way? Thanks.

Yeah, that's exactly it. I bought some polished aluminum aftermarket ones and they hit that tab. I used my air metal cutter and VERY carefully cut them off. They fit good after that.

Yeah, I was concerned about screwing up the radiator, but I'll probably just cut them off. Thanks.

Thanks, 2fun. The R is almost ready for updated pics, and I sold the Zilla.
