Default King Quad and Battery

Battery went dead after my wife left the key on all week.... So why put a pull start on it if it won't run without a good battery?

If I try to boost it, machine will fire and continue to run as long as starter is depressed..?? As soon as you let off starter it dies. I have never seen such a thing. It will rev up etc with starter spinning.

The computer on 2005 Kind quad is suposed to keep a charge even after the battery dies. So you can pull start it after the battery is dead. you have to turnt he key on before you try and pull start it. I know this sound simple but i forgot to turn the key on and almost broke my arm trying to pull the strap.

If your will not start under the situation you mentioned I would get it to the dealer and let them figure it out. Sounds to me like the battery losta cell and is bad adn wount hold a charge even long enough to keep the bike running.
