2000 400EX - Haven't rode in extended period, what to check? Also, Stroker Exhaust: Where to find Spark Arrestor
#1
I have a 2000 400EX, as the title says, I haven't had the time or anything to really ride this in quite a while. It runs and everything but I'd like to check it over well for this summer since I'll have some free time. Any known issues to look for really? It has a Stroker SX-1 pipe (this company even around?) and I need the packing for that, where might I find some? It also has a K&N Filter with the fine dust filter, just need to clean that I suppose, and it also has some different sized jets.
Edit: Also I should mention, its almost mint condition besides some scratch and wear on the fender and a small part missing near the exhaust pipe from when my brother had it and the U bolt that connects the muffler to the pipe burnt through the fender. It does have relatively low ride time (I'd almost say since I've bought it 3-4 years ago its probably under 75 hours. What might these go for if I were to look for a newer Honda 4x4?
Edit: While I'm on it, does anyone know where I can find a Spark Arrestor for the Stroker SX-1 exhaust pipe? I know the website www.strokerspeed.com use to have them but the site no longer exists. Any other aftermarket ones that would perhaps work?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
