im looking for another grab bar, i saw a z400 with a team suzuki grab bar and it was really thick to, anyone have something thick thats chrome for a predator? i dont really like the one i have, plus a friend did a weelie this weekend and went to far scratching the hell out of it, thanks for any help!

 

well i like the ac a lot. its not chrome and its not that thick but you can see a picture of it at www.acracing.com. i am not sure if you run a whip on yours but my stock grab bar makes my whip hit my helmet. so thats why i need a new grab bar. if you dont like the ac hope you find you
do like .

 

I have the pro armor aluminum grab bar. It's longer then stock, and alot better made. I polished out and it looks chrome.

 

Does PRM make a grab bar for a pred?
if so the PRM has been the strong grab bar i've ever owned.

I've been looking for a new grab bar also. I originally bought the Polaris aftermarket grab bar, but it broke (18 months later). And it still did not have a good angle for the whip. My friend machined a piece of aluminum to change the angle.

Does anyone have the DG grab bar? How do you like it? How is the whip angle?

I've had good luck with the Pure Polaris bar...PC'd candy purple. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] If I had to do it again, I think the funny lookin' HPD unit would be on there. It's funky when you're holdin' it in your hands, but once it's installed, the "dual grip" is a real lifesaver. It's all about the function.

 

Agreed, I actually like the funky look for some reason....... Plus as you said, it is very practical. I still have the stock bar and flipped it upside down for easier lifting which looks like the idea behind the HPD one.
