i have a 02 250ex, whats top speed stock, and how much faster would it go with a K&N and a FMF pipe

 

top speed is about 50-52mph and with a pipe you'll get around 1-2 mph faster,but you'll gain more bottem end power too.

 

They go about 50, maby 52 down-hill

 

definately get a pipe, lot of companies make them for the 250ex now. make a big difference. i personally wont ever run k&n thou, its like the ford vs chevy thing its all personal preference, and my preference is they let too much dust through, but to each his own. i run twin-air in mine. i have uni-vents in the lid too!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

There is no way possible unless you changed the gearing on the thing. My buddie has a 250ex that he gave to his brother that has one of those power up kits that comes with a jet and a new air filter and it doesnt even crack 55.

 

I don't know what your top speed is, however by putting on a pipe, filter or jets you won't go any faster. Your engine will still only turn x amount of RPM's. The only way to add top speed is to put on a rev limiter that is higher then the stock unit. You can also make the front sprocket bigger by adding teeth to it, or go smaller on the rear sprocket.
