Default loose 250r rear caliper?

I just noticed today that the rear caliper on my '86 250r is loose? The caliper itself is not loose it is the bracket that holds the caliper. The whole assembly moves with the axle about a 1/4" back and forth until it hits the "pin" that the bracket slides over on the swingarm? is this bracket worn out and i need a new one? or can i tighten my axle nuts? any ideas? thanks

That sounds like the cure to me. Might also want to replace the oring in the bracket when you remove it.
